I love hunting, I love killing fish and I love eating meat. What I love more, and am fortunate enough to be doing full time, is pastoring a small church in Tampa called Calvary Chapel West Tampa.

People will do some crazy things for fish, in the case of my friends and I it means using GPS imagery to try to find salt ponds and other isolated bodies of water where baby tarpon, snook and others lurk. When you find the angling version of a hole in the wall restaurant, epic fishing adventures can ensue.
Welcome to week four of the Ditch Kids Initiative! You guys have all been crushing it so far, lets keep it up.
Your hosts this week are Captain Adam Mailliez @amailliez and Phil Lovelady @1sightcast.

Something I’ve really come to appreciate about a yearlong Caught Not Bought challenge is that it has forced me to challenge some of the preconceived ideas about certain foods.
One food in particular is the bonito. My entire life I have been told that bonito is shark bait and nothing more because it’s too bloody to be of any food value.
I’ve been told otherwise by a few good friends over the years, but have never taken the leap to find out for myself. That changed last week.
Starting Monday, (5/29), Skinny Water Culture is proud to announce the Ditch Kids Initiative.
In addition to being the coolest fishing company around, we’re also teaming up with kids to help make the world just a little bit better. Each week members of the Skinny Water Culture Collective invite you (kids under 18) to participate in a series of events to help make our world better and win exclusive prizes.
What a fantastic weekend of weather for the 3rd Annual Skinny Water Culture Paddle Craft Tournament & the 14th Annual Shark Bite Challenge & Paddle Fest !
Attendee’s traveled near and far to be in beautiful Dunedin, FL, April 7th for the Welcome Party on the back patio of Kelly’s Chic-a-Boom Room . I personally loved overhearing everyone discussing their game plans for Saturday, sharing memories from prior years, and watching the casting challenge run by Captain Court Douthit.
