A lot of everything…
Its pretty safe to say that living somewhere in South Florida makes it pretty dam assemble to fishing just about year round. Although winds could be honking one can bank hop for exotics all day with or hit the backcountry in the sticks with good success even with what Floridians call “frigid” . Spring is a time of transition and the fishing just gets pretty dam stupid. If you don’t believe me tune into social media its filled with current on the water updates streaming 24rs. As for now I’m just going to post a few pictures of a few trips with some cameos and some other unrelated fishing stuff to keep everyone interested.
A few evening trips with Chris Trad for a tarpon round up. These fish are mean tempered and fat as hell!
Flying-fish where on the menu on one night while tarpon fishing with hundreds of them flying in every which way to avoid predation. This one hit the boat and proceed to fly into the boat.
The rare key Deer that I almost made chop liver as I rounded a blind turn.
Crazy day with my buddy Randy Marrow. After missing 3 bones and breaking off a permit early in the day my buddy hit pay dirt with this nice bone.
A fresh water trash can slam. Peacock bass, Oscar, cichlid and bass. Nothing exciting just keeping busy.
My buddy Chris Trad with a nice red that decided to tail feet from us.
Preparation is key.

Breaking in my buddy’s new fly set up. Trust me it didn’t take long and a lot of hateful words where exchange because of it.
A few critters I have tied for this change in weather.
Releasing Chris Trad black drum.
Stay connected and enjoy the next few weeks before the searing Somalia like heat takes over.
Cheers
