Hello SWC. Wow this winter has been a blur. Seems like just yesterday we were sweating our marbles off on the sand bars looking into the water till our eyes felt like they were going to bleed hoping to get a hook set on one of those ancient silver fish. The redfish have been a hoot the last couple months, but it is time to start thinking about how we’re going to hit em when the first poon slinks up on the flat from their haunts in the sleepy depths of our local bays. How we’re going to hit em when the first poon migrates north just yards off our beaches. I’ll be hitting em from a different skiff this year. That being said my 18’ Hewes Redfisher is up for grabs. I’ve been running her since 2006 and love this boat. Now it’s time for some one else to enjoy one of the skiffs that invented the sport.
The hull is a blue 1995 18’ Hewes Redfisher in good shape. LED bow and under-gunnel lights. 2 batteries up front for trolling motor 1 in the rear for starting, lights, bildge and bait well. Light grey sea dek installed this past tarpon season in the cockpit and on the polling platform. Bennett trim tabs.
The motor is a 2000 Tohatsu 115, a little rough looking, but runs well. Prop is stainless. I also have a 23’ Loop push pole, and 82lb motorguide great white trolling motor. Both are about six months old. Aluminum trailer included.
